About this Event

Join A.R.T. In Action for our first Virtual Community ART Night. Led by Anona Kosmack, this will be a guided art instruction. After the instruction, we will give space to chat, ask art questions or share in a private setting. The night will not be recorded. We would like to thank Golden Artist Colors for their sponsorship of this workshop.

Time: 6-8pm (ZOOM)

Art Facilitator: Anona Kosmack

Bio: Anona has been an artist all of her life, and when it came time to decide which path to take in her career, she knew she had to be true to herself. Anona considers it her calling to enrich the lives of those she works with by bringing out their inner artist and bringing more beauty to their environment.

Anona’s advocacy and philanthropic initiatives focus on person’s with disabilities and indigenous women. She uses her learning from university career in Conflict Studies and her yoga certification to create powerful statement art. Currently, she is completing her degree in Developmental Service Work so she can better serve her ideal clients.

What you will need:

• 1 – 8 x 10 canvas
• 3 paintbrushes
• Primary paint colours (red, blue, yellow) and black and white
• Internet access and a Zoom account

Art Kit Sponsorship (for Ottawa, Ontario only):

We have 8 art kits to give to those living in the Ottawa (ON, Canada) region that need supplies. Art kits will be supplied on a first come, first serve basis. Supplies provided are:

• 1 – 8×10 canvas
• 3 paintbrushes (1 flat brush, 1 round brush and 1 small brush)
• 5 x 1oz paints (red, blue, yellow, black and white)

Delivery of Art Kits :

You will receive your art kits the week leading up to the art night.
